• 2.The Space Needle — Seattle's 1962 World's Fair icon — ride up the flying-saucer tower to a revolving glass floor and open deck with a 360° sweep of the city, the Sound, the Olympics and (clouds permitting) Mount Rainier. The classic view; go at sunset.
• 3.Chihuly Garden and Glass — A dazzling museum of Dale Chihuly's blown-glass sculpture, from a jaw-dropping suspended ceiling to a glasshouse and garden of otherworldly forms, right below the Space Needle. Small, stunning and unlike anything else.
